Playing Back a DVD or Blu-ray Disc Created on this Unit

BD/DVDs created using the backup function on this unit can be played back on TV using an optional DVD writer (DVDs only) with playback function (CU-VD50U) or a normal BD/DVD player. DVDs can also be played back on this unit by connecting the optional DVD writer with playback function.

For details on how to play back on a normal DVD or Blu-ray disc player, refer to the instruction manual of the player.

Memo

  • Videos recorded in MP4(MVC) format can be copied or played back only when dubbed to a Blu-ray disc or hard disk drive.
    Copy or play back by connecting this unit to an external Blu-ray drive or USB external hard disk drive.
  • When there are many files in the disc, it may take time for them to be displayed on the screen. Wait for a while as the access lamp appears blinking, which indicates normal operation.

Memo

  • When AVCHD files recorded in 3D are played back on a normal recorder or player, the left and right images will be displayed separately.
  • When there are many files in the disc, it may take time for them to be displayed on the screen. Wait for a while as the access lamp appears blinking, which indicates normal operation.
