Taking Group Shots (Self-timer)

The 10-second self-timer is a convenient function for taking group photos.
The 2-second self-timer is useful for preventing camera shake caused by pressing the shutter button.

Memo

This function is available in still image recording mode.

When shooting a photo using the self-timer function, use of a tripod is recommended.

Using the 2-/10-second Self-timer

Open the LCD monitor.

Check if the recording mode is PHOTO .

If the mode is MOVIE video, tap MOVIE on the recording screen to display the mode switching screen.
Tap PHOTO to switch the mode to still image.

Tap “MENU”.

The top menu appears.

Tap “RECORD SETTING”.

Tap “SELF-TIMER”.

If the icon is not displayed on the screen, tap “ Cursor_Right ” to scroll the screen.

Tap batsu to exit the menu.

Tap RETURN to return to the previous screen.

Tap “2SEC” or “10SEC”.

Take a still image.

A timer appears and countdown to shooting starts.

To stop the self-timer, press the START/STOP button again.

Memo

The START/STOP button on this unit cannot be used to adjust the focus in advance. To adjust the focus in advance, press and hold the icon_C4_Still-REC button on the touch screen until the focus is adjusted.

While the countdown timer is displayed, the buttons cannot be used as they are not displayed on the screen.
