Display On TV

For setting whether to display the display and menu characters on the external monitor.

HDMI out

For setting the terminal to output the video.

[Setting Values: On, REC button Off]

Resolution

For selecting the resolution of video output from the [HDMI] terminal according to the monitor to be connected.

[Setting Values: 576i, 576p, 480i, 480p, 720p, REC button 1080i, 1080p]

Memo

The selectable options vary according to the setting in [System]/[Resolution]/[Frame & Bit Rate] of [System]  arrowR  [Record Set]  arrowR  [Record Format].

Cross conversion output is not possible.

Color

For setting the color format of HDMI signals.

This item can be set only when [HDMI out] is set to “On”.

[Setting Values: RGB, REC button Auto]

Enhance

For setting the color range of HDMI signals. When connecting to a PC monitor, set this to “On”.

This item can be set only when [HDMI out] is set to “On”.

[Setting Values: On, REC button Off]

Rec Trigger

For setting whether to superimpose trigger signals in tandem with the [HDMI] terminal as well as the [REC] button on the camera body.
When a compatible device is connected, recording/stop control signals are output in tandem with the operation of the [REC] button.
The record trigger output status to the connected device is indicated by REC  arrowR /STBY arrowR on the display screen.

On:
Superimposes the trigger signals in tandem with the [HDMI] terminal as well as the [REC] button on the camera body and outputs the recording/stop control signals to the compatible device.

Off:
Does not superimpose the trigger signals.

Memo

Even if REC  arrowR /STBY arrowR is displayed on the display screen, the compatible device may not necessarily be recording.

When [Main Menu] arrowR [A/V Set] arrowR [Video Set] arrowR [HDMI out] is set to “Off”, [Rec Trigger] is fixed at “Off” and cannot be selected.

When [Main Menu] arrowR [System] arrowR [Record Set] arrowR [Rec Mode] is set to “Interval Rec” or “Frame Rec”, [Rec Trigger] is fixed at “Off” and cannot be selected.

Set to “Off” if connecting to a device that does not support record trigger.

TC

For setting whether to superimpose time code to the [HDMI] terminal.

[Setting Values: On, REC button Off]

Memo

Set to “Off” if connecting to a device that does not support HDMI TC.

SD Aspect

For setting the style of displaying down-converted images on a 4:3 aspect ratio screen.

Side Cut:
Displays image with the left and right sides cut off.

Letter:
Displays as a wide image with the top and bottom blackened.

Squeeze:
Displays image that is squeezed horizontally.

Memo

When [Record Format]  arrowR  [System] is set to “SD”, and when [SD Aspect] is set to “4:3”, this item appears as “---” and cannot be selected.

System

SD Set Up

For selecting whether to add a setup signal to the video signal output from the [AV] output terminal.
Setup signals are added when “7.5%” is selected.

[Setting Values: 7.5%, REC button 0.0%]

Memo

Depending on the menu settings of the camera recorder and the condition of the cable connected to it, the setup signal setting may be fixed at “0.0%”. “0.0%” is displayed in gray in this case.

When [Main Menu] arrowR [System] arrowR [Record Set] arrowR [Record Format] arrowR [Frame & Bit Rate] is set to “50p” or “50i”, “---” is displayed and selection is disabled.
