Protecting/Releasing Protection of Selected Files

Protects or releases protection of the selected files.

Open the LCD monitor.

Tap MOVIE or PHOTO to select the video or still image mode.

Tap PHOTO or MOVIE on the recording screen to display the mode switching screen.
Tap C2_Video-Button to switch to the video mode MOVIE .
Tap C2_Still-Image-Button to switch to the still image mode PHOTO .

Tap Change_PLAY to select the playback mode.

Tap MENU(no-mark)

While the video mode is shown in the image, the same operations apply for the still image mode.

Tap “MENU”.

Tap MOVIE REC(no-mark)

Tap “EDIT”.

Tap “PROTECT/CANCEL”.

Tap on the files to protect or release protection of.

CheckMark appears on the selected files.
To remove CheckMark from a file, tap on the file again.

PROTECT and CheckMark are displayed on the files that are already protected.
To release protection of a file, tap on the file such that CheckMark is removed.

Tap “SEL ALL” to select all files.

Tap “REL ALL” to release all selections.

Tap “SET” to complete the setting.

Protect marks PROTECT appear on the selected files.
Protect marks PROTECT disappear from the deselected files.

If no file is selected, the “SET” button cannot be pressed.
