Connecting this Unit and a Computer

This unit enables you to connect to a PC with a built-in Bluetooth feature for listening to music or the audio of videos or meetings.

Connection cannot be established if the “Bluetooth” menu is not displayed on the “Device Settings Screen” as shown in the steps below.

  1. Disconnect from other devices

    2. If this unit is already connected via Bluetooth with other devices such as smartphone, turn off the Bluetooth feature for the said device in advance.

  2. Connect this unit and a computer

Pairing this Unit and a Computer for the First Time (Registering a Device)

Press and hold the power button of this unit. The indicator starts to flash quickly and repeatedly, and a voice message saying “Pairing” can be heard.

Perform the steps below for each OS of the PC in use.

Windows 10

  1. Right-click the [Start] button

  2. Click [Settings]

  3. Click [Devices] in the “Windows Settings” screen

  4. Click [Add Bluetooth or other device] in the “Bluetooth & other devices” screen

  5. Select [Bluetooth] in the “Add a device” screen

    6. PCCS_PC_connection_Win10_005_EN

  6. Once [JVC HA-XXXX] (model number of the unit in use), select it

    7. PCCS_PC_connection_Win10_006_EN_JVC

You will see the model number of the unit in use displayed in the “JVC HA-XXXX” area.

  1. Right-click the [Start] button

  6. Select [Bluetooth] in the “Add a device” screen

  7. Once [JVC HA-XXXX] (model number of the unit in use), select it

  1. Go to the Apple Menu and click [System Preferences]

  2. Click [Bluetooth] in the “System Preferences” screen

  3. Once [JVC HA-XXXX] (model number of the unit in use) appears in the “Devices” list, select it

Reconnecting with a Previously-connected PC

With the Bluetooth function on the PC in the On state, power on this unit. This unit will automatically reconnect with the PC that was previously connected.
