Normal Playback

Plays back the recorded videos.

Open the LCD monitor.

Check if the recording mode is MOVIE .

If the mode is still image, tap on the recording screen to display the mode switching screen.
Tap MOVIE to switch the mode to video.

Tap to select the playback mode.

Tap the file (image).

Tap NAND / SDcard to select the media for playback and change the index screen (thumbnail display).

PLAY_BUTTON appears on the last image played back.

Lines in different colors are displayed under the thumbnail display to distinguish the recording date.

Images recorded in 50p mode and 50i mode are displayed on the index screen separately.

To view the images recorded in 50p mode, set “SYSTEM SELECT” in the video recording menu to “50p” before selecting the playback mode. In cases such as during Digest Playback or when playing back/editing a playlist, set “SYSTEM SELECT” in the same way before operating.

To view the images recorded in 50i mode, set “SYSTEM SELECT” in the video recording menu to “50i” before selecting the playback mode. In cases such as during Digest Playback or when playing back/editing a playlist, set “SYSTEM SELECT” in the same way before operating.

Playback starts.

Tap HALT to pause.

Tap INDEX to return to the index screen.

Caution

While this unit may be used with the LCD monitor reversed and closed, the temperature rises more easily. Do not use this unit with the LCD monitor reversed and closed for long periods of time, or in places exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures.

The power may turn off to protect the circuit if the temperature of this unit rises too much.

Operation Buttons for Video Playback

During Index Screen Display

	Display	Description
	/	Switches between video mode (50i/50p) and still image mode.
	(Date and Time Display)	Moves to the previous/next date

	/	Switches between the memories in which images are recorded ( built-in memory/ SD card)
	MENU	Displays the menu screen
	Thumbnail (File)	Tap: Starts playback Drag to right: Displays the file taken before the recording date Drag to left: Displays the file taken after the recording date Thumbnails with the same underlined color indicate files with the same recording date.

During Video Playback

When this unit is not operated, the operation buttons on the touch screen disappear automatically. Tap on the screen to display the operation buttons again.

	(Pointer)	Displays the current estimated playback position within the scene
		Saves one scene of the video being played back as a still image. Displayed while playback is paused.
		Returns to the beginning of the scene Returns to the previous scene if tapped at the beginning of a scene. Allows the same functions as the zoom lever to be performs while pausing playback.
	(during playback)	Reverse search (speed increases with each tap)
	(during pause mode)	Reverse slow-motion / Press and hold to start reverse slow playback

	(during playback)	Forward search (speed increases with each tap)
	(during pause mode)	Forward slow-motion / Press and hold to start slow playback
		Advances to the next scene
		Slow playback The speed can be set using SLOW-MOTION SPEED .
		Switches the display between full ( ) and simple ( ) with every tap of the button. Simple display: Some displays disappear automatically when the screen is not operated. Full display: Displays everything. The display button changes from to . When the power is turned off, the display setting will revert to simple display ( ).
		Switches to the recording mode.
		Stop (returns to index screen)
		Deletes the currently displayed video.
		Enlarges the displayed video. Tap the position of the image you want to enlarge. Zoom ratio changes by using the (+) and (-) buttons.
	MENU	Displays the menu screen

Memo

Tap or drag on the operation area of the touch screen.

The recording date and time can be displayed on the screen during playback.

Adjusting the Volume of Videos

You can use the zoom/volume lever to control the volume.
