Disable secondary audio in the audio setting of the playback device.
To play back a device connected directly to the TV using the eARC/ ARC feature, set the [HDMI CEC] switch on the bottom surface of the processor unit to “ON”.
Connect the output terminal of the processor unit to the HDMI input (eARC/ ARC) terminal of the TV.
Connect the input terminals of the processor unit to the HDMI output terminal of the playback devices.
Devices connected to the HDMI input terminal of the processor unit supports playback of audio on the headphones in formats such as uncompressed 5.1ch or 7.1ch, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. For more information on the audio formats that can be transmitted, please refer to Supported Audio Formats.
If the HDMI terminal of the TV is compatible with eARC, playing back a device that is directly connected to the TV via this terminal allows transmission of uncompressed audio signal to the processor unit. In this case, audio formats such as uncompressed 5.1ch or 7.1ch, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. can be played back on the headphones.
If the HDMI terminal of the TV is compatible with ARC, playing back a device that is directly connected to the TV via this terminal does not allow transmission of some uncompressed audio signal to the processor unit. In this case, uncompressed 5.1ch or 7.1ch, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. are not supported and audio is played back on the headphones in the compressed format.
To play back the audio of the TV through the headphones, turn on the power of the headphones and the processor unit, and set the processor unit to [DIGITAL] using the [INPUT] button.
