HDMI Settings

HDMI1 HDMI 1 Settings / HDMI2 HDMI 2 Settings

Input Level

For setting the dynamic range (gradation) of the video input.
If the image is not displayed properly even after selecting “Auto”, select an appropriate setting.

If the dynamic range is not appropriate, the bright areas become overexposed, and the dark areas become underexposed.

Auto

Sets the input signal level automatically.

16-235 (Video)

Select this setting if you are inputting video signals (dynamic range: 16 - 235).

0-255 (PC)

Select this setting if you are inputting PC signals (dynamic range: 0 - 255).

16-255 (S.White)

Select this setting when inputting Super White-compatible device signals (dynamic range: 16 - 255).

Color Space

For setting the color space of the input signal.
If the image is not displayed properly even after selecting “Auto”, select an appropriate setting.

Detects “YCbCr444”, “YCbCr422”, and “RGB” automatically.

YCbCr444

Select this setting when inputting YCbCr (4:4:4) video signals.

YCbCr422

Select this setting when inputting YCbCr (4:2:2) video signals.

RGB

Select this setting when inputting RGB video signals.

Auto Pic.Mode Select

SDR

For configuring the “Picture Mode” to switch to automatically during input of SDR signal.

Switches to the “Picture Mode” that was last configured when viewing SDR content.

Natural

Switches the “Picture Mode” automatically to “Natural”.

Cinema

Switches the “Picture Mode” automatically to “Cinema”.

Vivid

Switches the “Picture Mode” automatically to “Vivid”.

SDR 1, SDR 2

Switches the “Picture Mode” automatically to “SDR 1” and “SDR 2”.

HDR10

For configuring the “Picture Mode” to switch to automatically during input of HDR10 signal.

Frame Adapt HDR 1

Switches the “Picture Mode” automatically to “Frame Adapt HDR 1”.

Frame Adapt HDR 2

Switches the “Picture Mode” automatically to “Frame Adapt HDR 2”.

HDR 1, HDR 2

Switches the “Picture Mode” automatically to “HDR 1” and “HDR 2”.

HDR10+

For configuring whether HDR10+ transmission is allowed. To enjoy HDR10+ content, configure to “On”.

FILMMAKER MODE

For configuring whether to switch “Picture Mode” automatically to “FILMMAKER MODE” when FILMMAKER MODE is detected.

Auto

Automatically switches “Picture Mode” to “FILMMAKER MODE” when FILMMAKER MODE is detected.

Manual

Does not automatically switch “Picture Mode” to “FILMMAKER MODE” when FILMMAKER MODE is detected.

Displays a message asking whether to switch “Picture Mode” automatically when FILMMAKER MODE is detected for the first time. If “No” is selected, “FILMMAKER MODE” will be configured to “Manual”. To enable automatic switching, configure “FILMMAKER MODE” to “Auto”.

Content Type

For configuring the type of video content used for selecting an image quality mode.

If the image is not displayed properly even after selecting “Auto”, select an appropriate setting.

SDR

Picture mode suitable for viewing SDR content.

HDR10+

Picture mode suitable for viewing HDR10+ content.

HDR10

Picture mode suitable for viewing HDR10 content.

HLG

Picture mode suitable for viewing HLG content.

HDMI Format Setting

For changing the EDID mode of the “HDMI 1/HDMI 2” terminal. Set to “Standard” under normal condition.
The images may not be displayed on some old devices. In this case, try “Option 1” or “Option 2”.

EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) refers to the information, such as supported resolutions, exchanged between devices.
