Setting the Color Profile

By setting the “Color Profile” (color space information) according to the “Picture Mode”, you can fine-tune the image quality according to the movie you are viewing.

When “Picture Mode” is set to “HDR10+”, the setting is fixed at BT.2020(Normal).

After configuring “Picture Mode” (LINK), press the [COLOR PROFILE] button, use the [ sankaku_U sankaku_D ] keys to select “Color Profile”, followed by pressing [OK]

You can also perform the setting by pressing the [MENU] button to display the menu followed by selecting “Picture Adjust” arrow “Color Profile”.

The selectable “Color Profile” settings vary according to “Picture Mode”.

Auto

Switches the color profile automatically based on the color gamut information of the input content.

BT.709

Color space that is suitable for BT.709.

BT.2020(Wide)

Color space that is suitable for HDR viewing. The cinema filter is configured to Wide. *1

Color space that is suitable for BT.2020. The cinema filter is configured to Wide. *

BT.2020(Normal)

Color space that is suitable for HDR viewing. The cinema filter is configured to Normal. *1

Color space that is suitable for BT.2020. The cinema filter is configured to Normal. *

DCI

Color space that is suitable for DCI.

Video

Color gamut that reproduces video footage such as dramas and live images in bright and vivid colors.

Anime.

Color space that is suitable for CG animation works. Ideal for animated works with bright colors.

Cinema

Cinema-specific color gamut that achieves a balance between increased brightness and color vividness.

Film 1

Color space that is close to the characteristics of Eastman Kodak Company movie films.

Film 2

Color space that is close to the characteristics of FUJIFILM Corporation movie films.

Off (Wide)

Disables color space adjustment. The cinema filter is configured to Wide. *

Off (Normal)

Disables color space adjustment. The cinema filter is configured to Normal. *

Vivid

Bright and rich colors. Suitable for viewing in a slightly bright environment, such as living room.

Custom1 to Custom4

For saving the color profile data created using the projector calibration software.

Normal cinema filter is a setting that prioritizes brightness and is best suited for video content or movies with an apparent peak.
Wide cinema filter is a setting that prioritizes color reproduction and allows users to enjoy the wide color gamut of HDR. Recommended for all kinds of movie content.

When “Picture Mode” is configured to “HDR10+”, “Color Profile” is fixed at BT.2020(Normal) and the color profile function cannot be used.
