Shooting by Changing the Settings

Select the shooting methods suitable for purposes by using the shooting dial.

Shooting Dial	Details
i.AUTO	You can record without worrying about the setting details by using the Intelligent Auto mode. Taking Videos in Auto Mode Taking Still Images in Auto Mode
P	Adjusts aperture and shutter speed automatically depending on brightness of the subject. P: Adjusts exposure (i.e., brightness) (Programmed Auto).
A	Adjusts aperture manually, and shutter speed is adjusted automatically. A: Adjusts aperture (Aperture Priority)
S	Adjusts shutter speed manually, and aperture is adjusted automatically. S: Adjusts the shutter speed (Shutter Speed Priority)
M	Adjust aperture and shutter speed manually. M: Adjusts aperture and shutter speed at the same time (Manual)
U	Frequently-used settings can be registered to U. Saving setting values of the USER dial
SCN	Shoots scenes according to the shooting conditions. (Scene Selection) Shooting According to Scene (Subject)
	Captures the subject by tracking the subject automatically. (Face Priority/Touch Priority) Capturing Subjects by Tracking Automatically (TOUCH PRIORITY AE/AF)
