Dubbing Files to a Disc by Connecting to a Blu-ray Recorder

Videos recorded in the HD quality can be dubbed in the high-definition quality by connecting an AVCHD-compliant Blu-ray recorder to this unit via a USB cable. For details on creating the disc, refer to the instruction manual of your Blu-ray recorder.

Open the terminal cover.

Insert the SD card to be dubbed.

Before inserting the SD card, close the LCD monitor and turn off the power of this unit.

Insert only one SD card. Even when two cards are inserted, the Blu-ray recorder only recognizes one SD card.

Connect to a Blu-ray recorder.

Connect using a USB cable (sold separately).

Open the LCD monitor.

The power of this unit turns on, and a USB mode screen appears.

Perform dubbing on the Blu-ray recorder.

Refer also to the instruction manual of the Blu-ray recorder.

After dubbing is complete, close the LCD monitor of this unit and check that the POWER/ACCESS lamp goes off before disconnecting the USB cable. Operations cannot be performed on this unit until the USB cable is disconnected.

Memo

To save videos that are recorded with “Frame Rate” set to “50p”/“60p”, use an AVCHD Progressive-compatible Blu-ray recorder.

Caution

Videos recorded in the 4K or High-Speed quality cannot be saved to a Blu-ray recorder.

Videos that are recorded with “Frame Rate” set to “50p”/“60p” cannot be saved to a DVD.

This operation cannot be completed if the remaining battery power is not enough. Charge the battery fully first.
