Shooting Assist

For configuring settings on supplementary shooting functions.

Grid Marker

For configuring whether to display a 3x3 grid on the screen.

Displays grids.

Off

Does not display grids.
Display Settings

For configuring the displays on the LCD monitor screen.

Go to Display Settings Menu .

Auto Monitor Brightness

Automatically adjusts the brightness of the LCD monitor according to the brightness of the shooting location.

Setting

Description

On

Adjusts the LCD monitor brightness automatically.

Off

Does not adjust the LCD monitor brightness automatically.

Caution

Unavailable when “Silent Mode” is set to “Silent & Dim LCD”.

For configuring the brightness level of the LCD monitor screen.

Setting

Description

-10 to -1, 0, +1 to +10

Increasing the value increases the brightness of the LCD monitor.

Memo

Available when “Auto Monitor Brightness” is set to “Off”.

Changing the setting in “Monitor Brightness” does not affect the recorded videos.

  Monitor Contrast

For configuring the contrast level of the LCD monitor screen.

Setting

Description

-10 to -1, 0, +1 to +10

Increasing the value increases the contrast of the LCD monitor. (The images appear sharper when the contrast is higher.)

Memo

Available when “Auto Monitor Brightness” is set to “Off”.

Changing the setting in “Monitor Contrast” does not affect the recorded videos.

  LCD Backlight

For configuring the brightness of the LCD monitor backlight.

Setting

Description

-1, 0, +1

Increasing the value increases the brightness of the backlight.

Memo

Available when “Auto Monitor Brightness” is set to “Off”.

Changing the setting in “LCD Backlight” does not affect the recorded videos.

  Monitor Peaking

Adjusts the outline of the video image that is displayed on the LCD monitor.

Setting

Description

-3 to -1, 0, +1 to +3

Increasing the value enhances the outline of the video image.

Memo

Available when “Auto Monitor Brightness” is set to “Off”.

Changing the setting in “Monitor Peaking” does not affect the recorded videos.
