When “Shutter Speed”, “Aperture” and “Gain Up” are set to “Manual”

Shutter speed can be adjusted.

Adjusts the aperture value.

Caution

Aperture cannot be selected in the following cases.

During Auto recording

When “Lolux” is set to “On”

Makes the subject appear bright automatically when recording in dark places.

Caution

This function is not available for selection when “Lolux” is set to “On”.

“Manual” is not available for selection in the Auto Recording mode.

This function is fixed at “AGC” in the Auto Recording mode when “System” is set to “High-Speed”.

“Auto Slow-Shutter” is not available for selection in the Manual Recording mode when “System” is set to “High-Speed”.

Corrects the image when the subject appears dark due to backlight.

Caution

Backlight Comp cannot be selected in the following cases.

When “Lolux” is set to “On”

For configuring the Lolux mode (low-light recording mode) to increase the light sensitivity level at a dimly-lit location.

Sets to a standard gamma curve.

Cinema

Sets to a gamma curve with similar gradation to the screen characteristics of movies.

Gamma cannot be selected in the following cases.

When “WDR” is set to “On”

Adjusts the corresponding gamma level when “Gamma” is set to “Standard” or “Cinema”.

Setting

Description

-5 to -1, 0, +1 to +5

Increasing the value enhances the gradation of the shadows. However, the gradation of bright areas deteriorates.
Decreasing the value enhances the gradation of the highlights. However, the gradation of shadows deteriorates.

When shooting subjects with a wide dynamic range, such as a backlit subject, this function compresses the dynamic range while maintaining image contrast by applying gradation compensation to the input video signals.

Configures the color according to the user’s preference using the color matrix (colors represented by the 3 R, G and B values).

Sets to a standard color matrix.

Cinema Vivid

Sets to a vivid color matrix that is similar to the screen characteristics of movies.

Cinema Subdued

Sets to a subdued color matrix that is similar to the screen characteristics of movies.

Memo

This is selectable only during Manual recording.

The color matrix of the camera can be adjusted to suit the user’s preference.

When shooting is performed using multiple cameras, the colors of the different cameras can be adjusted, and a color of the user’s preference can be set on this camera. The saturation, hue and brightness of the primary and complementary colors (6 colors in total) can be configured individually.

The adjusted values of “Standard”, “Cinema Vivid”, and “Cinema Subdued” in Color Matrix can be stored individually.

Restores “Camera Process” to the default settings.

Caution

This item cannot be selected during recording.
