Adjusting Focus Manually (FOCUS)

Adjust the focus manually when focus cannot be achieved using Auto or when you want to lock the focus.

Select the Manual recording mode.

C8C Tap MENU

If the camera is in the WB_Auto mode, tap WB_Auto to display the mode selection screen.
Tap MANUAL_MODE to switch the recording mode to Manual.

Tap “MENU”.

Select “Camera Process” with Cursor_Up or Cursor_Down , followed by tapping “SET”.

Select “Focus” with Cursor_Up or Cursor_Down , followed by tapping “SET”.

Tap batsu to exit the menu.

Tap RETURN to return to the previous screen.

Select “Manual” with Cursor_Up or Cursor_Down , followed by tapping “SET”.

Adjust the focus.

The manual focus icon ( C8C_MF ) appears on the screen.

Tap Cursor_Up to focus on a distant subject.

Tap Cursor_Down to focus on a near subject.

Pressing and holding down the key allows focus to be adjusted continuously.

Tap “SET” to confirm.
