Setting White Balance

You can set the color tone to suit the light source.

Select the Manual recording mode.

C8C Tap MENU

If the camera is in the WB_Auto mode, tap WB_Auto to display the mode selection screen.
Tap MANUAL_MODE to switch the recording mode to Manual.

Tap “MENU”.

Select “Camera Process” with Cursor_Up or Cursor_Down , followed by tapping “SET”.

Select “White Balance” with Cursor_Up or Cursor_Down , followed by tapping “SET”.

Tap batsu to exit the menu.

Tap RETURN to return to the previous screen.

Select a white balance setting with Cursor_Up or Cursor_Down , followed by tapping “SET”.

Set this when shooting in deep waters (water appears blue).

Use this when the problem of unnatural colors is not resolved.

Use this when the problem of unnatural colors is not resolved.

Using Preset

Select “Preset” with Cursor_Up or Cursor_Down , followed by tapping “SET”.

In the Camera Process menu, select “Adjust” under White Balance, followed by tapping “SET”.

Select “Preset Temp.” with Cursor_Up or Cursor_Down , followed by tapping “SET”.

Select an appropriate color temperature with Cursor_Up or Cursor_Down , followed by tapping “SET”.

To specify the settings in greater detail, display the detailed color temperature selection screen with Cursor_Right .
To go back to the main color temperature setting screen, tap Cursor_Right .

When using MWB A and MWB B

Select “MWB A” or “MWB B” with Cursor_Up or Cursor_Down , followed by tapping “SET”.

Hold a sheet of plain white paper in front of the lens so that the white paper fills the screen, followed by tapping WB_One_touch .

“A< MWB >” or “B< MWB >” appears on the screen during the adjustment. (The MWB icon starts to blink.)

After color adjustment is complete, a rough estimation of the adjusted color temperature will be displayed.

Tapping MWB each time changes the color setting.

MWB A and MWB B can be configured to different colors.
