Enlarging the Image (EXPANDED) for Focus Adjustment

This function enlarges the area near the center of the image.

It is useful for checking or adjusting the focus.

Select the Manual recording mode.

C8C Tap MENU

If the camera is in the WB_Auto mode, tap WB_Auto to display the mode selection screen.
Tap MANUAL_MODE to switch the recording mode to Manual.

Tap “MENU”.

Select “Camera Process” with Cursor_Up or Cursor_Down , followed by tapping “SET”.

Select “Focus” with Cursor_Up or Cursor_Down , followed by tapping “SET”.

Tap batsu to exit the menu.

Tap RETURN to return to the previous screen.

Select “Manual” with Cursor_Up or Cursor_Down , followed by tapping “SET”.

Tap C8C_Expa to return to the previous screen.

Caution

Only the part of the image where focus is to be adjusted manually appears enlarged.

Images cannot be enlarged while recording is in progress.

Recording cannot be started while in the enlarged display mode.

Memo

Magnifying an image does not alter the size of the recorded image.

Images that are output to the TV do not appear enlarged.
