The screen may darken for 5 to 6 seconds when settings in the recording format menu are changed.

Records in “4K” quality.

Records in “HD” quality.

Records in “High-Speed” quality.

Memo

“4K” video recordings can be played back in 4K quality on TV sets that support 4K resolution and in HD quality in the case of high-definition TVs.

Displays the file format of the recording.

AVCHD

Records in the AVCHD file format.

QuickTime

Records in the QuickTime file format (.mov).

Displays the size of the recorded image. (Horizontal x vertical)

Records in 1920×1080 quality.

3840×2160

Records in 3840×2160 quality.

For configuring the frame rate for recording.

And for configuring whether to perform progressive recording.
To capture scenes of a video as still images, progressive recording is recommended.

When “System” is set to “4K”: [Settings: 30p, 25p, 24p]

When “System” is set to “HD”: [Settings: 50p, 50i, 60p, 60i]

When “System” is set to “High-Speed”: [Settings: 50/25p, 100/25p, 60/30p、120/30p、100/50p, 120/60p]

Caution

When “System” is set to “HD”, videos with “Frame Rate” at 60p/60i and 50p/50i cannot be mixed on the same card.

Before inserting a new SD card, check if the “Frame Rate” has been set to the frame rate for shooting.
To change the “Frame Rate”, do so before inserting a new card.

For configuring the recording bit rate.

When “System” is set to “4K”, the setting is fixed at “70M”.

When “System” is set to “HD” and “Frame Rate” to “50p”/“60p”, the setting is fixed at “28M”.

When “System” is set to “HD” and “Frame Rate” to “50i”/“60i”: [Settings: 18M, 24M]

When “System” is set to “High-Speed”, the setting is fixed at “16M”.
