Setting

Description

Normal

When recording stops, the image, audio and accompanying data from the start till the end of the recording are recorded as a single scene.

Pre Rec

“Pre Rec Time” can be used to specify the number of seconds for video and audio to be recorded before the actual recording starts.
Pre Rec

Scene Continuous

This function enables several rounds of recordings (from the time when recording starts to the time when it is stopped) to be consolidated into a single scene.
Scene Continuous

Time-Lapse Rec

This function enables the changes of a scene that occur slowly over a long period of time to be played back within a short time by recording the number of frames configured in “Rec Frames” over the time interval configured in “Rec Interval”.
Time-lapse Recording (Time-Lapse Rec)

Caution

Unavailable when “System” is set to “High-Speed”.

When this item is set to “Pre Rec”, “Scene Continuous” or “Time-Lapse Rec”, turning off the power will restore it to “Normal”.

Description

15 sec

Records video and audio 15 seconds before actual recording starts.

10 sec

Records video and audio 10 seconds before actual recording starts.

5 sec

Records video and audio 5 seconds before actual recording starts.

Caution

When “System” is set to “4K”, the setting is fixed at “5 sec”.

For configuring the number of frames to record when “Rec Mode” is set to “Time-Lapse Rec”.

For configuring the recording time interval when “Rec Mode” is set to “Time-Lapse Rec”.

Setting

Description

Dual

Records simultaneously to the SD cards in both Slot A and Slot B.

Both the SD cards in the two slots will contain the same files.

Series

Starts recording to the card in the other slot when the card in the slot where recording is in progress becomes full.

Caution

This function is not available for selection when “System” is set to “4K” or “High-Speed”.

For configuring whether to split the files in units of 4 GB when recording to an SDXC card.

Description

Splits a file when it exceeds 4 GB or 30 minutes.

Off (SDXC)

Splits a file when it exceeds 64 GB or 4 hours.

Caution

Unavailable when “System” is set to “HD”.

Memo

This option is only valid if the SD card used for recording is of the SDXC card.

Resets the serial number of the video files.

By initializing the SD card when changing to a new one, you can record with the file number starting from “1” for each SD card.
(File number of an AVCHD video file starts from “0”.)
