Grid Marker
For setting whether to display a 3x3 grid on the screen.

When [Grid Marker] is set to “On”, [Aspect Ratio], [Aspect Marker], and [Safety Zone] do not function.
Aspect Ratio
For selecting the final image aspect ratio to be used from the overall angle of view.
[Setting Values: 16:9(+4:3), 2.35:1, 16:9, 1.75:1, 1.66:1, 14:9, 13:9, 4:3, 2.35:1 Center, 2.35:1 Top, 1.85:1 Center, 1.85:1 Top]
When [Grid Marker] is set to “On”, this item appears as “---” and cannot be selected.
When [System] [Record Set] [Record Format] [SD Aspect] is set to “4:3”, this item is fixed at “4:3” and cannot be selected.
Aspect Marker
For specifying how boundary markers are to be used to indicate the parts of an image that are beyond the range of the aspect ratio selected in [Aspect Ratio].
Line+Halftone:
Displays the boundary using lines, and areas outside the boundary in halftone.
Halftone:
Displays areas outside the boundary in halftone.
Line:
Displays the boundary using lines.
Off:
Hides the boundary markers.

When [Grid Marker] is set to “On”, this item appears as “---” and cannot be selected.
When [Aspect Ratio] is set to “16:9” or “16:9(+4:3)”, this item is fixed at “Off” and cannot be selected.
Safety Zone
For setting the percentage of area that is to be deemed as valid area (Safety Zone) within the boundary of the aspect ratio selected in [Aspect Ratio].

When [Grid Marker] is set to “On”, this item appears as “---” and cannot be selected.
Center Mark
For specifying whether to display a mark to indicate the screen center within the aspect ratio selected in [Aspect Ratio].
